| We are a scout lead troop and activities are planned by the scouts When Wednesday night in the church hall downstairs beginning 7 PM The meeting begins with opening ceremony, announcements, followed by a game if time or weather permits. Activities include Merit Badge instructions, skill building, patrol corners. Closing 8:30 PM. The meeting closes and we recognize birthdays and awards. Everyone also has a chance to make important announcements. Scouts can earn money by participating in troop fund raising programs. This money can be used to pay for any Troop 608 related expenses such as dues, camping, uniforms, scout material, and equipment that is not available from the troop. Adults are encouraged to register and become active with the troop. No experience necessary. This would be a great opportunity to have some fun and give back to the community. |
